I believe it was Keats who said, “Beauty is bacon, bacon beauty; that is all.”
And wasn’t it Joyce Kilmer who said, “I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as bacon?”
Shakespeare, a noted lover of bacon, once wrote, “Shall I compare thee, bacon, to a summer’s day?” And, “ A rose by any other name would not smell as sweet as bacon.”
Needless to say, for I cannot as so eloquent be, April’s Cooking Club will be devoted to BACON!!!!! Bring on your best bacon bites, baby, and join us at Anca and Kyle Pause’s house on Saturday, April 30th (we had to change it up because of Spring Break) at 6:30 to celebrate all things bacon. Show us your best appetizers, main dishes, and yes, I know someone will bring bacon dessert, I would expect nothing less ;) I can’t wait to see everyone’s tribute to bacon and I know the men will be beyond happy.
